Our study turns to the postcolonial world of Latin America, with a special focus on Buenos Aires, addressing the alienation, hybridity, “two-ness”, and the othered state of Borges as an immigrant to Latin America after the World War I. “Double Consciousness” is arguably central to the analysis of Borges’s sense of duality in a newly adapted culture with the dilemma whether to behave in accordance with his previously adopted cultural identity, or with a new self in a new culture. Many studies have signified Borges’s attempt to establish the foundation of true Argentinean literature and a revival of cultural heritageک however, there ceases to be a significant study to encompass that Borges is like a “colonized intellectual” who talked back to the center through using the colonizer’s ideology. با استفاده از دو اصطلاح »هوشیاری دوگانۀ«ویلیام ادوارد برگهارت دوبوآ و» روشنفکر استعمارشدۀ«  فرانتس فانون، در این مقاله نشان میدهیم که مقالۀ»هیچ چیز از شخصیت«خورخه لوئیس بورخس رامی توان پسا استعماری دانست. مطالعۀ ما به دنیای پس از استعمار آمریکای لاتین، با تمرکز ویژه بر بوینوس آیرس، پرداختن به بیگانگی، ترکیبی، »دوتایی« و وضعیت دیگری بورخس به عنوان مهاجر به آمریکای لاتین پس از جنگ جهانی اول می­پردازد.مسلماً در تحلیل حس دوگانگی بورخس در یک فرهنگ تازه اتخاذ شده، این بحث محوری مطرح  است که  آیا»هوشیاری دوگانۀ«بورخس باید مطابق با هویت فرهنگی اتخاذ شدۀقبلییا با خود جدید او در یک فرهنگ جدید باشد؟ بسیاری از مطالعات حاکی از تلاش بورخس برای ایجاد پایه و اساس ادبیات واقعی آرژانتین و احیای میراث فرهنگیآن است؛ با این حال، این مطالعات از این بررسی باز ماندند که  بورخس مانند»روشنفکر استعمارشده ای«بود که با استفاده از ایدئولوژی استعمارگر به مرکز آنها وامی نوشت. https://jalda.azaruniv.ac.ir/article_14131_942a150a18122594437f0689a7573aa6.pdf
