چکیده
در حیطه ی ترجمه ی چند رسانه ای، ترجمه ی کارتون برای کودکان یکی از دشوارترین چالش هاست. کارتون ها ممکن است بچه گانه به نظر برسند؛ اما نقشی اساسی در رشد ذهنی و عاطفی کودک و آموزش وی ایفا می کنند. دوبله و زیرنویس شیوه های اصلی ترجمه ی کارتون هستند. هر یک از آن ها تا حدی در نسخه ی اصلی دخل و تصرف می کنند تا آن را برای مخاطب زبان مقصد طبیعی، تعلیمی و تفریحی جلوه دهند. اولین مشخصه ی هر کارتون عنوان آن است. پژوهش حاضر با استفاده از روش توصیفی، در بازه ی زمانی دهه ی 80 میلادی تا سال 2002، دوازده عنوان کارتون به زبان انگلیسی را با ترجمه ی فارسی آن ها بر مبنای چارچوب نظری ون دایک (1998) و از منظر باور های واقعی و باورهای ارزشی مقایسه می کند. در حالی که منظر اول به دانش مشترک جامعه اشاره دارد، مورد دوم به قضاوت ها و ارزش ها مربوط می شود که ایدئولوژی را شکل می دهند. هنگامی که باور یا عقیده ای ارزشی در جامعه ی مقصد جایگزین باوری واقعی از جامعه ی مبدٲ می شود، می تواند به عنوان یک باور واقعی کاذب تلقی شود. نتایج پژوهش حاضر حاکی ار آن است که که در ترجمه ی عناوین کارتون، مترجمان ایرانی اغلب ترجمه ی آزاد را ترجیح می دادند؛ زیرا آن ها یا باورهای واقعی را به باورهای کاذب تغییر دادند و یا ایدئولوژی های ارزشی را جایگزین باورهای واقعی کردند. آثار چنین تغییراتی روی کودکان اجتناب ناپذیر است.
